What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental term for rowers is 3 months.
How much does it cost to rent a rower?
Rower rental is $90 per month. A fully refundable $100 bond is also required. The bond is held in a dedicated account and returned promptly at the end of your rental period, following equipment inspection.
What does delivery and collection cost?
Delivery and collection are FREE within a 20km radius of Ellerslie. You’re also welcome to collect your rower if you prefer. The rowers separate into two pieces, so they fit easily into most vehicles with the back seats folded down.
Do I need to maintain the rower?
Concept2 machines are famously durable. We simply ask that you keep it clean during your rental.
RowErgs are designed for indoor use. Direct exposure to sunlight can damage the monitor, so the rower should be kept indoors at all times.
We handle all regular servicing between rentals to ensure peak performance.
What happens if there is an issue with my rower?
We will respond quickly, troubleshoot the issue, and arrange a replacement rower if needed, keeping your training on track with minimal disruption.
Is there a rent-to-buy option?
We don’t currently offer a rent-to-buy option, as our rowers are dedicated to our rental fleet. Our focus is on providing premium, professionally maintained equipment for short- and long-term hire.
Can I extend my rental period?
Absolutely. We’re happy to extend your rental, subject to availability. Please let us know at least two weeks before your scheduled collection date and we’ll arrange everything for you.
What is the difference between a Model D and Model E RowErg?
The Model E has a taller frame (so it's easier to get on and off). It is a bit bulkier all-round. Our most popular model is the Model D.
Do I need to sign a rental agreement?
Yes. All rentals are covered by a simple rental agreement outlining the hire terms, responsibilities, and bond details. This ensures clarity and peace of mind for both parties. You can view a copy of our full Terms & Conditions here.
Is the equipment in good condition?
Absolutely! All equipment is cleaned, checked, and refurbished where needed to ensure its quality.
How much space do I need for the rower?
The rower has a 244cm x 61cm footprint. When not in use, it can be stored upright in 1 or 2 parts.
