Gym Equipment NZ isn’t a big corporate operation, and we don’t pretend to be.
What started with sourcing and selling pre-owned Les Mills Smart Tech equipment has grown into something much bigger. Today, we buy quality gym equipment in bulk from gyms, fitness facilities and suppliers across New Zealand, giving it a second life in home gyms around the country. We also stock a carefully selected range of new equipment that complements our pre-owned range.
We're a family who genuinely enjoys fitness, so gym equipment is something we use and understand ourselves. Between us, there’s a mix of gym training, HYROX, running and plenty of general keeping-active.
It's mostly just me, Caroline, running things from our home in Ellerslie, although my husband and teenage boys also get roped in to help with packing orders, deliveries and pickups!
We're a down-to-earth, family-run business that believes great gym equipment shouldn't cost the earth. Whether you're picking up a bargain from our latest stock, building your home gym, or hiring a Concept2 RowErg, we're here to make the process easy.
We check over the equipment we sell and try to describe it honestly, including any wear and tear. We’d much rather you know exactly what you're getting.

For our pre-owned gym equipment, we believe good equipment deserves a second life. We carefully select, check and refurbish our gear before it’s offered for sale — keeping quality equipment out of landfill and giving it a new home.
Our Concept2 RowErg rentals are later-model machines that are regularly serviced and checked before every hire. If something isn’t right, we’ll sort it out — including swapping the rower if needed. We also do our best to deliver and collect at a time that works for you.
It’s simple really — quality equipment, friendly service and doing what we say we’ll do.
